VERSANT LIBRE
Suspension — Dense floor — Non-functional passage

Glass rods hang from a rail.
Their rhythm outlines a limit without imposing it.
Below the lines, a single resting point.
Around it, a granular floor.
The whole stands on presence, not use.
It can be crossed, observed, bypassed.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
(Long-form text written for installation context)

VERSANT LIBRE stems from FIELD — an intervention with no function or ornament.

A suspended alignment organizes the air.
A curtain of metal rods and clear blocks sets a kind of breathing.
It interrupts without closing.
Not a wall, not a filter: a tangible path — open, readable.
Each interval suggests direction without enforcing it.

The system remains in elevation.
It floats.

At the center, a silent mass anchors the installation.
A place to pause, without assigning direction.
A steady resting point, in resonance with the suspended lines.

The floor absorbs.
A continuous, irregular, granular surface.
It muffles sound, softens contours, slows the step.
It recalls dust or stone, with no narrative intent.
A tension emerges between defined verticality and dense tactility.

At certain hours or under directional light, the glass catches a reflection.
A vibration runs through the elements, without excessive shine.
It brings it into view without excess.
It takes part in the balance.

This setup is built for physical environments.
Each part is removable.
Materials meet the technical demands of exhibition spaces — safety, maintenance, adaptability.

TECHNICAL SHEET
Walk-through installation — material rhythm — reversible setup

SUSPENSION
Brushed anodized aluminum rail, section 40 × 10 mm
Ceiling mounting via Ø6 mm threaded rods
Stainless steel rods Ø4 mm, adjustable height (2200 to 2800 mm)
Layout: linear or grid
No floor fixation
No visible cables
Transportable, dismountable

GLASS ELEMENTS
Solid borosilicate cubes — 35 mm
Central hole, cold-polished
Fixed spacing: 65 mm
Presence without visual noise

FLOOR
Pigmented resin, textured with volcanic sand or aggregates
Variant: stabilized raw earth
Matte, absorbent finish
Thickness: 60 mm (optional 40 mm)
Installed in situ or as prefabricated panels
Clean edge finish

SEAT
High-density foam, matte cover
Compact, non-directional shape
Loose element, placed freely
A stable point that echoes the hanging structure

ADAPTATIONS
Optional LED underside
Light or sound response to presence
ERP compliance on request

MAINTENANCE & DURABILITY
The floor surface, though irregular, shaped to avoid dust accumulation ou built to stay clear over time.
Reliefs follow a controlled layout.
An invisible protective coating allows for easy cleaning — soft vacuuming or local micro-abrasion.
The system holds over time, without visible wear.
