Drawing Studies
These drawings were made in the early stages of the studio.
They were often a starting point — and can still be.
Some of these studies later led to forms, objects, spaces or materials.
They carry part of what shaped the direction that followed.


Contrasted seat — light modules on black base, stable geometry.
Composite chair — suspended black seat, light wood frames, controlled tension.
Organic seat — fluid shape, attached modules, soft outline.
Structural bench — curved top, twin massive legs, unstable balance.
Control room — perspective study, oblique frame, wall-mounted interfaces.
Collapsible lamp — tubular frame, cast shadow, translucent mass.
Botanical structure — line study, translation of an organic form.
Sectional chair — thin joints, curved volume, adjusted footing.
Portable table — geometric layout, contrasted planes, flat drawing.
Monolithic volume — low silhouette, cylindrical outgrowth, compact geometry.
Split sofa — two tense volumes, central link
Tension chair — rigid plane, suspended seat, exposed structure.
Scenic device — inclined bleachers, floor grid, figures in motion.
Perspective sketch. Early test of spatial rhythm and framing.
Intuitive drawing. Spatial premise from unconscious gesture.
Ornement suspendu, tension légère.
Bound seating — stretched lines, vertical tension, restrained textile.
Free-form study — black volumes, vertical drips, fragmented rhythm.
